Women teachers dominated the nursery school with almost 100% compared to nearly 1% for men teachers. This was similar for the primary and secondary school, which were located in Britain; around 95% and 50% for female teachers and 5% and 45% for male teachers, respectively. University recorded at around 30% for female teachers as it is the lowest women proportion compared to other types of institutions while 75% male teachers occupied. The nursery school was boy’s least preferences to work as it recorded at nearly 1%.
Meanwhile, the private training institutions had a higher male portion of 55% compared to 45% for females. College had an equal gender percentage of 50% each.
As evident from the graph, women teachers were occupied at the early childhood programmes. As the level of educational level increased, the percentage of female teacher decreased whereas the proportion for male was vice versa.
