The bar graph illustrates the amount of time spent by tree types of telephone calls in the UK over an eight years period between 1995 and 2002. The general view is that, having peaked at the highest point to 90 billions minutes, the figure of local fixed line remained unchanged at just above 70 billion minutes in both 1995 and 2002.

To specify, the figure of National and international calls has climbed from around 39 billions in 1995 to approximately 60 billions in 2002. However, Mobiles was at least popular of telephone calls than other categories in 1995, which was the lowest point with 2 billions, after then there was a gradual increase by 40 billion between 1996 and 2002.

On the contrary, the upward trend was overtaken by a downward trend after 1999 in the figure of Local fixed line.

To sum it up, people in the UK, almost preferred to use local fixed line calls, although National and international and Mobiles showed an significant upward trend in the last years.
