The chart shows the amount spent on six consumer goods in four European countries
The chart illustrates the amount spent on six different consumer goods in Germany, Italy, France and Britain.
Overall, it is clear from the chart that while Britain spent the highest amount, Germany, Italy and France expenditure on consumer goods fluctuates.
Regarding Personal stereos, while Britain spent just under 160 thousand pounds, France and Germany expenditure were equal, at almost 150 thousand pounds. Similarly, although Italy spent about 155 thousand pounds on Personal stereos, the amount of expenditure in Tennis Racquets, Perfumes, CDs increased slightly from 2 to 3 thousand pounds, and this figure reached to the peak of almost 160 thousand pounds on Toys.
In contrast, Britain and France spent the largest amount on all types of consumer goods compared to Italy and Germany. The amount spent on Tennis Racquets by Britain was 155 thousand pounds. This figure rose to approximately 170 thousand pounds on Photographic films which is the highest among all countries. Also, Italy and France shared identical amount of expenditure on Toys, at just below 160 thousand pounds.
