The line graph demonstrates the percentage of tourists to England who visited certain Brighton attractions from the period of 1980 to 2010. According to the graph, the most attractive places were the pavilion and the festival in 2010. In 1980, the least popular attraction was the pier but in 2010 this changed and the art gallery was the least popular.
Beginning of 80s, the incremental number of tourists was the Art Gallery and the Pier. The most increase was the Art Gallery to reach at about 38% in 1985. This figure had fallen to the lowest figure of less than 10% in 2010. In comparison, there were steadily incremental tourists for the Pier, which started from 10% in 80s and sudden pick in 2000 to reach at just over 22% in 2010.
The visitors in the Pavilion showed a sharp increase during 1980s to 1990s from well over 20% to almost 50% respectively. Almost half of visitors had visited the Pavilion in 1995. This figure had fallen slightly after that period to reach at slightly over 30% in 2010.
