The information presented in the table, shows the expenditure made by consumers in five different countries in the year 2002. Overall, it is quite clear from the table that there are three categories where people make expenses.
Apropos to the given data, it can be deduced that consumers in the five countries spend mostly on food, drinks and tobacco in the given era. Turkey has the highest number of consumers in this category accounting for 32.14%. Following Turkey is ireland which has 28.91% of consumers in the given period. Spain, Sweden and italy are far less than the former accounting for 18.80%, 15.77% and 16.36% respectively.
The second category with higher number of consumers are clothing and footwear. In this category, Italy(9.00%) has higher percentage of consumers when compared to Turkey. Turkey, Ireland and Spain were almost equal in percentage, having 6.63%, 6.43% and 6.51% respectively while the least was Sweden which has 5.40% consumers.
The least category was leisure and education. People spend less in this category. Here, Turkey still has the highest number of consumers than others. After Turkey is Sweden, Italy, Ireland and then the least is Spain.
All in all, Turkey emerged as the country with the highest number of people that make so much expenses in the year 2002
