The tables show data regarding sales of coffee and bananas in 1999 and 2004 in five European nations.

In 1999, Switzerland sold the most coffee at 3 million euros and they were able to double this in 2004 at 6 million euros. However, this pales in comparison with the UK which only managed to export 1.5 million euros worth of coffee but had a big boost in sales by 2004, surpassing Switzerland at 20 million euros. Denmark and Sweden showed a similar trend in terms of sales rate, from 1.8 to 0.8 million euros, respectively, both has only able to increase their sales by 0.2 million euros.

In terms of banana sales, Switzerland holds the top spot in 1999 at 15 million euros and within 5 years, they have more than tripled their sales at 47 million euros. During the same time period, both the UK and Belgium showed growth in their sales. From 1 and 0.6 million euros, sales jumped to 5.5 and 4 million euros, respectively. Both Sweden and Denmark suffered losses in their trades. From 1.8 and 2 million euros, it dipped down to 1 and 0.9 million euros, respectively.

In general, coffee trade increased within these 5 European states. The UK has enjoyed the highest sales rate followed closely by Switzerland. In terms of banana sales, Switzerland, UK and Belgium showed a rise in their sales while Sweden and Denmark showed a decline in their sales rate.
