The bar chart below shows the number of students who chose certain university subjects in 2005

In general, all subjects were enrolled. In addition, subjects such as science, mathematics, society, and languages have higher enrollment rates than subjects such as humanities, the arts, literature, and law. The number of female students studying science, mathematics, literature and law is higher than that of male students. In particular, the three subjects of humanities, languages and the arts have a much higher enrollment rate of male students than female students. The humanities subject has the highest enrollment rate almost absolutely among male students, nearly 25 thousand, and the percentage of female students studying languages and arts is very low (less than 5 thousand people). The three subjects of science, mathematics, humanities and literature have a female enrollment rate of 15 thousand or more. The arts subject has the lowest number of students choosing to study with only 9 thousand for boys and 3 thousand for girls. The number of humanities students is quite interesting, both male and female students are almost equal with about 12 thousand students. From the statistical ratios we can see that each student has a different need to learn different subjects, and the proportion of men has a higher need to learn than women.
