The bar chart illustrates the percentage of male's and female's physical exercise in Australia in 2010. It can be observed that women were more active in physical activities than male counterpart after the age of 24.
In the early age, from 15 to 24, boys are more active in sports than girls. While the exercise level decreased from the age of 25 till age of 44, there was a gradual increase in exercise from the age of 45. However, old men, over age 65 years, were more active than adults of age between 24 and 34.
In contrast, the activity level of females were increased as they grow older, except for the females over the age of 65 years. While the physical activity of women in the age bracket 45 to 54 were the most active irrespective of genders, the exercise level of men in the age group of 35 to 44 years, were the lowest active. Interestingly, the males and females of over the age of 65 years were almost equally active.
