However, at the older age, the percentage of both male and female involved in these activities, remained almost constant.
The proportion of male and female lying between 15 to 24 years of age, was more for males with 52.8%, whereas 47.7% female performed such activities. On the other hand, for the people with age above 65 years, the percentage of both genders, differ merely by 0.3%.
In contrast, for the age groups between 25 to 64 years of age, the percentage of female doing physical exercises remained highest, with more than 48%, whereas the number of males of this age group performing these activities were less than 46%.
