The graph illustrates information about the proportion of Australian male and female in different age ranges who had physical exercise frequently in 2010.
Overall, it is clear to see that the percentage of Australian women who engaged in regular physical activity was higher than men from the age 25 to over 65s. Exceptionally, only the proportion of men in the age group 15 to 24 was higher than women in 2010.
In women, the rate of doing frequent physical exercises of the age groups of 35-44, 45-54 and 55-64 was over a half and under a half was the percentage of the age ranges of 15-24, 25-34 and after 64.
In men, the highest proportion of male who took part in physical activity was in the age range 15-24 with 52.8%. In contrast, the age range 35-44 had the lowest rate at just under 40%. The rest of the age groups had the percentage around 45%.
