the bar chart illustrates the ratio of sports activity that is done by Australian men and women in different age groups in 2010. In this study 6 different age groups have been chosen and these groups are 15 to 24, 25 to 34, 35 to 44, 45 to 54, 55 to 64 and 65 and over. Moreover, this ratio has been given by percentage.
Overall, the maximum and minimum percentage of females who did sports activity in this observation, observed in 45 to 54 and 65 and over age groups, respectively. On the other hand, the maximum percentage in men was seen in first group (15 to 24) and minimum percentage was in 35 to 44 years old group.
As bar chart indicates, the maximum ratio of men who did sports activity was in first group by 52.8% and the minimum proportion was by 39.5% in third age group. Although, in first 3 age group there was a significant stepdown, in next 3 groups this level was stay in approximately 45%.
Furthermore, the maxima and minima ratio of females were observed in 4th and last groups by 53.3 and 47.1%. as bar chart shows females by getting older did physical activity more till 54 years old but after that they did sport activity lesser and the ratio decreased to minimum level.
