The graphic gives information about the percentage of boys and girls joining in different activities in 2010 in Vietnam. In general, the trend shows that girls were more interested in art and craft rather than sports; meanwhile boys were more keen on sports activities than artistic ones.
The percentage of girls doing craft-work far exceeded that of boys, with respective figures being 25% and 7%. However, the number of male playing sports and going to the park surpassed the percentage of female counterparts with about 27% and 25% over 12% respectively. Moreover, while around 18% of female reading books, only 10% of male did so.
The gap shortened in DVDs area, about 17% of the girls compared with 15% of the boys. On the other hand, both Vietnamese male and female participated in computer games in 2010 with 15% each.
