The bar chart compares the percentages of two different genders who were living alone in several groups of ages in England. The pie chart below illustrates the proportion of five different numbers of bedrooms which were occupied by living alone person in 2011.
Overall, it is clear that women tended to live alone when they got older, and men loved to stay in one-person when they were in middle-age. The 2 bedrooms had the most rates in one-person households.
There was the same percentage in both male and female in the group of aged 50-64. The woman who have the age over 85 years old accounted for more than 75% which was the highest point of one-person living. In the group of ages 35-49, the proportion of living alone in male occupied nearly 65% which was a peak for this gender.
The 2 bedrooms accounted for 35,4% in the number of bedrooms in alone-person households. Besides, the 1 bedroom and 3 bedrooms had 29,8% and 28%, respectively. Finally, the two kinds of bedrooms remain occupied just below 7% in the pie chart.
