WRITING 4
The bar chart reveals the information about the highest qualifications acquired by men and women based on the employable population in Wales over the period 2001-2002.
Overall, males account for 30% in GCE A level or equivalent criteria that are higher than those of women about 10%. In contrast, to GCSE grade A-C or equivalent, women dominate over 30% and men constitute just under 20%.
It is clear from the graph that for both genders, higher education qualifications became the lowest qualifications. When only 8% of men have higher education qualifications, the number of higher education qualifications achieved by women is only 9%.
It is interesting to note that the other three qualifications, namely Degree or equivalent, Other qualifications, and no qualifications share a slightly similar ratio between the two sexes. To Degree or equivalent, the quantity for both genders is approximately 12% for men and 8% for women. The percentage of those who got other qualifications was 12% for both sexes. Nevertheless, to No qualifications, it increases by almost 8% more than the number of men and 23% the number of women.
