The bar graph compares how much money people in the USA and China spent on digital gaming between 2010-2017, while the pie charts illustrates the total amount of money spent on each type of games worldwide.

Generally speaking, it is obvious that the totals spent on gaming by Americans and Chinese showed the upward trends during an 8-year period. In 2017, the people all over the world spent most of their money on mobile game compared to console and PC types.

In 2010, Americans spent approximately 16 billion dollars which was about 2 times Chinese people spent on digital games. The amount of money spent by both countries’ population increased over the period. The total amounts of money were roughly equal in 2016 and Chinese took a lead in 2017 with approximately $28 billion, while American spent around $25 billion.

In 2017, a majority of money were spent on mobile gaming about $46.1 billion worldwide. The other two were nearly the same amount, console games gained 27% of the market share, whereas the PC games took 31%.
