The give is bar graph comparing how much-lead free petrol and diesel was used by an average car driver every week in 2015. The data is given in litres and covers 8 age categories ranging from 20 to 60.
The youngest group (20-25) showed the widest disparity of 6 litres with petroleum`s predominance over diesel. The data here was relative 6 and 1. In the next four age groups (26-45), a 2 litre higher index was recorded for both fuel types every time age category changed. The amount of petroleum and diesel utilized by their final 41-45 year olds possessed roughly 15 and 11 litres in turn. The following age group 46-50-year-old drivers also used more petroleum (12) than diesel (10).
In contrast, the oldest two age groups demonstrated diesel`s edge with equal 8 litres. However, amount of petrol utilized made up roughly 7 and 6 litres for 51-55 and 56-60-year-olds correlatedly.
Overall, most of the age categories with the exception the oldest two prefered petroleum more than diesel. Furthermore, the middle-aged were leading consumers of both of these fuels.
