Overall, the chart shows an downward trend in divorce rates in Sweden from 2011 to 2015, while in Finland, the rates went down in 2012 before peaked in 2014 and remained stable in 2015.
In 2011, around 47% people in Finland got divorce, while the number of these people in Sweden stood just nearly 45%. Until 2012, the figure for divorce rates in Finland decreased in under 32% and rose dramatically under 40% in 2013 before it peaked at 41% in 2014. In contrast, from 2011 to 2015, the divorce rates in Sweden escalated considerably to nearly 50% in 2012 before dropping to 45% in 2014.
After 2014, the proportions for people that ended their civil partnership in Finland remained at a similar levels, while the rates of people who got divorce in Sweden dropped significantly to 38% through a year.
