The bar chart shows the number of cars per 1000 people in 5 countries in Europe over the 3 years 2005, 2009, 2015, compared with the European average. Summaries the given information and show comparison which relative.

The chart illustrates the motorization rate of 5 European countries in 2005, 2009 and 2010, in comparison with the continental average.
What stands out from the chart is that United Kingdom and Iceland are 2 countries which figures higher than that of the European average. Additionally, the top position is held by Iceland throughout the period.
In 2005, the number of car in Iceland was around 600 compared to 450 of the UK and 400 of Netherlands. In the next 2 years of the survey, the car ownership rate of Iceland reached its peak at 2009 before witnessing a slight fall in 2010. The same but less pronounced pattern was found in Netherlands while the figure for the UK remained unchanged in all 3 years.
With regards to Latvia and Poland, these 2 countries shared the joint-lowest in 2005, at the number of 300 cars per thousand people. The similarity also happened in 2009 when both countries witnessed a 100- billion increase. In the last year of the period, the figure for Poland continued to rise negligibly while that of Latvia plunged to under 300.
