The bar chart shows the number of people who visited different museums in London. Summaries the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
The graph compares the number of visitors to four London museums in various months from June to December.
It is clear that British is the most popular museum, while National Museum was visited by the least number of people. It is also noticeable that more people came to museums in August.
In June and July, around 400.000 people visited History Museum, British Museum and Science Museum, whereas only half of that number came to National Museum, at just over 200.000. However, August marked a significant increase in the number of people who visited the four museums. The figure for the British museum peaked at slightly over 700.000, while the figure for History Museum reached a peak of approximately 600.00 in that month.
In the next two months, the number of people coming to the British Museum fell gradually to almost 450.000 in December. A similar trend can be seen in the figures for History Museum and National Museum, down to about 220.000 and 180.000 respectively. By contrast, nearly 100.000 more visitors came to Science Museum in September before dropping to a mere 300.000 one month later.
