The bar chart compares the proportion of dependents in five various countries around the world between 2000 and 2050. Overall, it is obvious that the average percentage of world independents is predicted to rise to about 42% in 2050 from around 25% in 2000.
Starting with 2000, of all the five countries India possessed the highest percentage dependents, at almost 40%, while Korea the lowest proportion, at just below 20%. The numbers of dependents in Indonesia, China and Japan were the same, at about 35%.
Turning now to the future of 2050, the percentage of the Korean dependents is estimated to ascend most greatly to about 42% in 2050. Meanwhile, the rate in Japan is forecast to increase by 12% to the highest position at 47% in 2050. It is meanwhile to notice that the numbers in Indonesia and China are expected to grow by the same percentage to 39% in 2050. However, in India, the proportion of the dependents will decline to around 30% in 2050.
