The bar chart compares how much electricity the top ten countries was produced and consumed in 2014. Overall, the production of electricity in all countries except Germany was bigger than the consumption; China stood at the first place the chart in the production and consumption of electricity.
China produced and consumed the highest amount of electricity, at 5398 and 5322 billion kWh respectively. It was followed by United States, at 4099 and 3868 billion kWh, almost four times as big as Russia's data (1057 and 1038 billion kWh).
Turning now to the rest seven countries, figures for the electricity production and consumption were smaller than 1000 billion kWh, about 936 and 856 in Japan, and about 871 and 698 in India. The data of Canada, France, and Brazil was similar, at around 550 and 455 billion kWh. Korea, Rep. bottomed out at about 485 and 449 billion kWh. It is interesting to note that the consumption of electricity in Germany(around 582) was larger than the production of electricity(about 526).
