This bar graph depicts the amount of electrical energy generated and used by top ten countries of the world in 2014. The measuring unit is billion kWh.
Overall, china tops the list by consuming and producing the maximum amount of electricity where as korea republic generates the least. All of the countries produce more energy than they consume except for germany. For russia there is not a significant difference in both the numbers.
Firstly china produces and consumes5.398KWh and5322KWh repectively. Secondly the united States generates 4099KWh and uses 3866KWh. russia is on the third number , it generates and uses 1057 kwh and 1038 repectively.It has only a difference of 19KWh in both the data.Japan and india process 936.2 and 871KWh repectively but uses 856.7KWh and 698.8KWh respectively. Canada being on 6th number manufactures and consumes(618.9KWh and 499KWh repectively) slightly less than india. France and brazil generates almost same amount but consumes 561.2Kwh and 455.8KWh respectively.
germany consumes 582.5KWh which is slightly greater than what is produces(526.6).Last but not the least korea republic generates 485.1Kwh and uses only 449.5Kwh.
