The given bar chart illustrates the proportion of youngsters of four different countries attending university in 2000, 2005 and 2010.
Overall, there was an increase in the percentage of the young in higher education in most countries except for the level off of Country B. In addition, country D witnessed the highest figure throughout the given period.
The proportion of young people studying in university in country D started at roughly 45% in 2000, after which it rose constantly to reach 60% in 2010. Similar change but to a lesser extent can be seen in the figure for country C, which increased from about 42% to 47% in the first five years before staying unchanged until 2012.
Approximately 35% of the young in country A attended tertiary education in 2000, with subsequent growth to around 48% in 2005 and a final rise to end at 57% in the last year. By contrast, the figure for country B nearly stayed stable at around 40% throughout the period
