The bar graph illustrates the information about the terms of percentage of academic staff enrolled in seven various departments by gender in a main university during 2012.
In overall, male constituted a major in engineering faculty and female for education department since women least in engineering and men in education. However, a significant change can be noticed in all the faculties over the period.
It can be seen from the information that department of engineering became more popular among males which accounted at over a four fifths from 2012 as well as females shown less interest for same faculty at around a fifth in major university. On the other hand, women attained a higher figure for education at nearly a three quarters where only 18% men chosen this department in particular year.
