The charter illustrates the percentage of population aged 65 and over in UK in 1985 and the prediction for 2035. It compares five states, that is England Wells Scotland Northern Ireland and UK.
In 1985, Wales constituted the largest percentage of aging population, which is 16%; whilst Northern Ireland composed of the smartest percentage of people ageing 65 and over which is the 12%. England and UK consist of the same percentage, which is 15%. Scotland has 14% of population ages at 65 and over.
Into predication of 2035, the percentage of ageing people all increase in the five states. Wales remains the top place with the percentage of aging population, which is the 26%. Northern Ireland has the smallest percentage of people aged 65 and over, which is 23%. Scotland and England has 25% and 24% respectively.
