The chart below gives information on the percentage of British people giving money to charity by age range for the years 1990 and 2010.
The chart illustrates the proportion of people donating to charity programs in British divided into five groups of age within 1990 and 201Overview, young adult spent the least money on charity in both of the years whereas the most contribution was made by people in the age of 36-50 in 1990 compared to the group of 51-65 years old in 2010.
In the age range of 36-50, the percentage of contribution made by people was over 40% in 1990 and fell by over 5% to 35% in 2010. Similarly, the middle-aged people spent more money on the charity in 1990 compared to 2010 (about 31% and 24% respectively). In the British, there was a significant difference in the rate of young adult giving money to charity between two years. The figure for the year 1990 was over double that of 2010, which was around 7%.
On the other hand, people over 50 donated their money in 2010 more than the remaining year. The percentage of people over 65 spending money on donation was exactly 35% in 2010 meanwhile 32% of British people who gave money to charity in 1990. About 40% of people in the age of 51-65 dedicated to society in 2010 which was higher than 1990 about 5%.
