The bar charts given provide a breakdown of how many hours per week industrial workers in four European nations, namely France, Denmark, Sweden, and the UK spent on their work in 2002.
As can be seen from the charts that apart from Franch, the number of workers in the other three countries who spent 36-40 hours was the largest.
The largest figure of French workers spent 31-35 hours per week on work, at exactly one-half of the total number, while in Denmark, Sweden, and the UK, the highest proportion of individuals work weekly 36-40 hours, accounting for 70%, 80%, and 50% respectively. In Denmark and Sweden, the proportion of people working from 31-35 hours each week obtained the second-largest rank, taking up almost a quarter and nearly one-third. The same position in France and the UK was the number of humans weekly spending 36-40 hours and over 50 hours, at around 35% and 40% respectively. There was a nearly 15% difference between the second position and the third one which was the group working 46-50 hours each week in France, while this figure in Sweden and the UK was just a tiny fraction.
The number of Danish workers who functioned 1-30 hours and from 41 to more than 50 hours per week occupied around 10%. This figure was rather similar to employees in France when it comes to people spending 1-14 hours, 21-30 hours, 41-45 hours, and above 50 hours each week on function, while it took well over one-tenth workers 15-20 hours to work. In Sweden, the total hours that precisely 20% of humans in the industry functioned were 15-30 hours per week. In other mentioned periods, just an insignificant minority of Swedish workers weekly spent 1-14 hours and 46 to more than 50 hours for their work. Regarding the UK, the figure for employees who worked from 1 to 45 hours (except for people working 36-40 hours) each week ranged from around 6% to nearly 15%.
It is clear that it took French industrial workers the least hours to function while Swedish ones spent most of their time behind working.
