The graph depicts Algerian exports of agriculture, meat and fish, machinery and oil and gas during the period of time from 1950 to 2010.
According to the chart, Algerian exports of oil and gas drasticaly increased from almost nothing in 1950 to over seven hundred and fifty millions dollars in 2010, making this cector the most profitable one. among the four presented on the graph.
Non of other cectors experienced such grows.
Between 1950 and 1980 the exports of agricultural goods was the most profitable. In 1960 it reached five hundred millions dollars. However, its profitability declined to almost nothing by 2010.
Exports of meat and fish products and machinery were the lowest between 1950 and 2010. It did experience some fluctuation during those years; however, it remained the lowest among all four sectors. Additionally, as well as agricultural goods and products, meat, fish, and machinery exports declined from around a hundred and fifty millions dollars per year between 1950 and 1970 to less than ten millions dollars in 2010.
