The bar graph shows, leisure time distribution related to employment status and its comparison in both genders, in a week, between years 1998-1999. Overall unemployed and retired people were the two main groups who had the most leisure time.
Regardless of sex, unemployed people and retired people had more time than the other groups for leisure activities, with roughly equal hours in both groups 82 hours for man and 78 hours for woman. For males, this number was followed by full time workers with 42 hours. Full-time Employed women could arrange only 35 hours for leisure activities, in contrast housewives and part-time workers had more time for leisure activities than full-time female workers with 50 hours for former and 35 hours latter one.
Strikingly, Part time male employees could not arrange anytime for leisure activities or data is missing. They were also not involved in housewife category though we knew that some of the males do the housework.
