The bar graph depicts the yearly amount of rentals and sales in different formats of film from a particular store between 2002 and 2011.
It is clear that the numbers of rentals and VHS sales experienced a downward trend while that of Blurays sales was on the contrary. The figure for DVD sales underwent a fluctuating trend, which overwhelmed over the period shown.
Initially, the numbers of Rentals and VHS sales started at 185000 and 85000 correspondingly and dropped continuously after that. However, no more item of VHS was sold from 2007. By contrast, DVD sales’s data rose constantly and reached the highest point 215 in 2007.
In the period from 2007 to 2011, there was a decrease in the statistic of DVD sales and Rentals. Especially, a new product apeared - Bluray sales, which lightly decrease through 5 years. Until 2011, DVD’s figure confirmed as a leader at 180000, while that of rentals and Blurays were 187000 and 150000 respectingly.
