The line graph represents the changes of three types of crimes that were taken place in Manchester city center the year between 2003 and 2010.
Overall, what stands out from the graph is that over the periods the number of burglaries dipped off, on the other hand, rubbery stabled in a fixed range but after a certain time, the number of car theft increased.
To begin, in 2003, just over 500 robberies happened in the city center which was the least among three, while almost 3500 burglaries and 2300 car theft occurred. In the next year, burglaries rose significantly to 3800, and others also upgraded but not more than 200. From 2004 to 2008, the number of burglaries climbed down gradually from 3800 to 1100, whereas the number of car thefts fluctuated and remained between 2300 and 2000. Moreover, in the first three years robbery jumped close to 1000 and then decreased until 2008 to 500.
After 2008, car thefts continuously increasing and ended at 2700, while the number of robberies had up and down, and in 2012 it went up to 600. In addition, in 2009, though burglaries rose almost to 1500 then rest of the time it almost remained level off at 1400.
