The amount of money spent on cars in the UK was over 450,000 pounds, which was about 50,000 higher than that in France. Books were the second highest in expenditure of the UK, at slightly over 400,000 pounds, while the figure for France was much lower, just 300,000 pounds. Both countries spent nearly the same amount of money on computers, at over 350,000 pounds in 2010.
Turning to the remaining categories, it can be seen that perfume was spent least quantity of money in France and the UK, at exactly 200,000 and almost 150,000 pounds respectively.
