The bar chart illustrates the frequency of people in the USA who consumed fast food between 2003 and 2013.
Generally speaking, in 2003 and 2006, people who ate at fast food stores once a week accounted for the highest percentage while it was once or twice per month in 2013. And the Americans who consumed fast food daily only accounted for the smallest proportion.
In the first three years, the percentage of American citizens who ate fast food at restaurants was over 30% but it fell to 27% in 2013. People consumed fast food with the frequency of once or twice per month felt by 5% in the first three years. However, it increased to 33% in 2013.
The number of several times a week consumers was about 16% to 20% in the whole period of time which was higher than the percentage of few times a year consumers. The rate of people who went to fast food restaurants every day and people who never accessed to it remained at under 5%.
