The bar chart below shows the comparison between number of girls per 100 boys enrolled on three levels of educational institutes in year 1990 and 1998. Overall, it was seen that in developing as well as developed countries the number of enrollment for girls was always slightly higher in 1998 than in 1990.
The highest number of registrations that was 112 was noted in developed countries in tertiary education section in year 1998. Also, the target of 100 was crossed only in above mentioned section in both years 1990 and 1998. On the other hand, the lowest records were found on year 1990 in same section.
Furthermore, in secondary section, developed nations there was only difference of one point in 1998 and 1990 enrollments, and also was less than one number from target. Similarly, for primary education, in developed countries the scenario is same as secondary section.
To sum up, the number of enrollments kept on increasing in developed countries in year 1998.
