Essay topics:

The chart below shows the number of travellers using three major airports in New York City between 1995 and 2000.

The bar chart gives information about how many tourists used three different airports in New York City from 1995 to 2000.
It is clear that the amount of passengers using John F.Kennedy fluctuated during the period shown, while others had an upward trend. In addition, the figure for LaGuardia experienced the highest uses throughout this period.
In 1995, LaGuardia saw the largest number, which was about 35 millions, compared to about 27millions of John F.Kennedy and only 17 millions of Newwark. The number of travellers using John F.Kennedy witnessed an upward trend and reached its peak at 48 millions in 1997. However, in 1999, the figure dipped by approximately 15 millions. In 2000, there was a moderate growth to about 42 millions. ( which airport ? )
It can be seen that the figures for LaGuardia and Newwark both had an upward trend ( registered growing trend ) . However, LaGuardia substantially rose over the five-year period and remarkably stood at 68 millions in 2000. In contrast, Newark's number increased significantly to 42 millions in 1998 and remained stable in the last two years.
