The chart delineates that how the children travelled from one country to another via using various modes of transport. The graph illustrates the data for the children between the age 5 and 12 in the year 1990 and 2010.
Overall, car passenger amount has almost doubled over the period. On the contrary, walking and bus utilization almost dropped to half over the years.
In regards with the year 1990, roughly 4. 5 million students used car that was recorded as the least among the other modes of the transport. However, almost similar number(6 million) of the children preferred cycling or walking and bus. The double of the amount that was for cycling recorded the highest for walking( approximately 12 millions). Likewise, bus usage was 1 million more added to the cycling that is, almost 7 million.
In the year 2010, the least number of the children do cycling(2 millions). However, substantial increase of 1 million added in cycling accounted for walking and bus. Similarly, 2 and 3 millions more in cycling was for bus(5 million) utilization and walking(6 million). The crucial amount to be observed is for the use of car passenger(11 million) that was the highest amount in 2010.
