The chart below shows the percentage of volunteers by organizations in 2008 and 2014
The pie charts illustrate the differences and changes in the proportion of volunteers provided by six different organizations in 2008 and 2014. Overall, what stands out from the graph is that there were upward trends in the percentage of environmental, Sport and Health Care; while the others bucked the trend. Noticeably, the figures of Health Care constantly accounted for the lowest numbers in two years.
In particular, when it comes to Environmental and Sport, the given graph witnessed an increase of about 10% from 21% and 15% to 29% and 25% respectively, which continuously occupied the highest percentages in 2014. Regarding Health Care, the proportion of volunteers remained stable at approximately 8% over the period, which consecutively constituted the smallest figures.
In stark contrast, it demonstrates the opposite trend, the percentage of Art and Education declined sharply by roughly 6% from 18% and 24% to 12% and 17% accordingly. Besides, in terms of other organizations, the proportion stood at 15% in 2008, which outnumbered that in the year 2014 by 5 to 3.
