The bar graph depicts the information about compares the figures for men and women learners participated in several art related fields from linguistics to communication and media stud at a united Kingdom university in 2011.
It is clear from the graph that firstly, the maximum number of female students participated in English language and literature was about 250 students. While, a slightly lesser participation of men was studied at around 230 students in same subject. Secondly, the second most attracted subjects for women was Linguistics, had almost 250 students in enroll. However, which was steadily decline in men participation with 180 students.
The third most favourable subjects for both genders were communication and media stud with around 220 students. Nextly, the least attracted subjects for both genders were Philosophy. Female with 150 students and male with 50 students. In History and Archeology, both sexes were similar attracted by almost 110 students.
Art ans design was the only subject with more men than women at a ratio of 120 to 90 students.
Overall, female learners were more participating in five subjects apart from Art and design. While, male students had most attracted in Art and design subject.
