The chart illustrates the results of a survey about people’s habit of buying and drinking coffee or tea in five main cities in Australia namely Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide and Hobart.
As can be seen from the chart, in generally, citizens in Melbourne consumed coffee and tea at a café most while residents in Adelaide city used coffee as well as tea the least.
To begin with, for the first category which was going to café for coffee or tea in last 4 weeks, it’s obvious that Melbourne hold the highest figure, with approximately 63% while Hobart accounted for the second highest which was 62%. Sydney kept the third highest data with 61% followed by Brisbane and Adelaide, with 55% and 49%, respectively.
The figure for the second category witnessed a fluctuating from 45% to 54% for consuming instant coffee in last 4 weeks. It’s apparently, Hobart like instant coffee the most with 54% whereas the data of Sydney was the least, with 45%. The data of the rest cities was about 50% to 52%.
The proportion for the third category which was buying fresh coffee in the last 4 weeks was around 34% to 44%. Sydney was the top city who has citizens like fresh coffee, with 44%, followed by Melbourne and Hobart, with 42% and 38%, respectively. Finally, Brisbane and Adelaide took up nearly the same percentage, with was about 34%.
