The pie chart depicts information on the four types of tourist destinations in Britain as chosen by the public. The study covers the year of 1999.

Generally, most of the people preferred going to theme parks, museums and galleries as opposed to wildlife parks and zoos. It is also clear that out of all theme parks, most tourists went to Blackpool Pleasure Beach more than the others.

In detail, a survey in 1999 revealed that 38 % of the totality of all tourist chose theme parks while less than a percent was noted for museums and galleries. This was followed by the historical houses and monuments, and the wildlife parks and zoos with 16 % and 9 %, respectively. By comparison, the figure seen for wildlife parks and zoos was four times less than that of the percentage for museums and galleries.

Concurrently, different theme parks were identified as the most popular for visitors wherein, 47 % was posted for Blackpool Pleasure Beach which is less than three folds that of the figure for Albon Towers at 17 %. Pleasureland in Southport had 16 % while the least ranked theme parks involved in the survey were Chessington World of Adventures and the Legoland in Windsor, with 10 % each.
