The chart below shows the total number of minutes (in billion) of telephone calls in the UK, divided into three categories, from 1995-2002.

The given histogram highlights the information about tge number of minutesof telephone calls in the UK which are differentiated into three distinct categories between the year: 1995 to 2002. The data is calibrated in billions.

It can be seen that approximately 72 billion minutes were recorded in the local category of calls whereas, National and international calls showed only 38 billion minutes in the year 1995. The figure of local calls had been gradually inclined and reached to the peak with 90 billion minutes in the year 1999. After that, it experienced the declined trend.

As far as trend was concerned, there was a minor difference between the all mobile calls until the year 1990 and this trend did not even reached above a half billion minutes. With regards the number of minutes of all mobile calls, the number of National and international minutes were comparatively high. Moreover, the number of minutes of national and international calls in the years: 2001 and 2002 were nearly 40 billion and 47 billion respectively.

Overall, it is evident that all the types of calls had followed an increasing trend over the given period except local calls because it was dropped within the last three years.
