Overall, it can be observed that petroleum products, engineering goods, agricultural products and textiles gained higher export earnings in 2016 while gems and jewelry showed upward trend in 2015.
Initially, export of petroleum items and goods made up from engineering earned high profits of approximately 62 billion in 2016. The revenue of the products was 3 % and 8.5% higher than 2015. Whereas agricultural products and textiles exports gained around 30 billion which was 0.81 % and 15.24 % more than 2015.
In the year 2015, export of gems and jewelry was greater than 2016 exports which was approximately 42 billion and the percentage change reduced to 5.18% as compared to other exports.
