The bar chart illustrates the revenue from exports of a country from 2015 to 2016, while the table displays the fluctuations of values of each category during the same period.
Overall, a majority of categories experienced rises in values in 2016. Simultaneously, the table provides precise figures regarding proportional changes.
Looking into the chart, it is noticeable that petroleum products and engineered goods topped the chart in terms of making a profit. In detail, in 2015, both sectors received relatively significant revenue, with 61 and 56 billion dollars accordingly. These numbers continued to increase to reach nearly 63 billion dollars in the following year. Agricultural products and textiles were the smallest contributors with figures of both categories being all beneath 32 billion dollars. Moreover, gems and jewellery was the only group to have witnessed a decrease in profit throughout the given period, with the data slightly dropping from 43 to 41 billion dollars, making it the most notable feature.
With regards to the table, it is apparent that textiles underwent the biggest rate of value increase, which was exactly 15.24%. This number is followed by engineered and petroleum products, which obtained 8.5% and 3% of values growth respectively. While gems and jewellery had a 5.17% decline in value, agricultural products barely saw any significant change.
