The pie chart demonstrates data on the destination of Anthropology graduates from a certain university did after finishing their undergraduate degree course, while the table illustrates information of salaries of Anthropology graduates in a 5 years’ work period.
As an overall trend, it is clear that full-time work was by far the most popular among the other while part-time work and postgrad study were the least preferred. Noticeably, half of the Government sector earned the highest salary, while private companies are opposite.
Looking at the details, the number of the graduates who went to work full-time was high with roughly 52% as opposed to just under 15% for part-time work, followed by the figure of unemployed was low at well under 12%. In addition, the amount of A. graduates working part-time was approximately the figure for full-time postgrad study, roughly 8% and 8% in turn. Last but not least, part-time work and postgrad study were just nearly 5% of A. graduates. As can be seen from the table, Freelance consultants and Government sector which type of employment earned the highest salary accounting for 40%-50% of A.graduates. As for Private companies, which were in the lowest salary bracket of $25,000 to $49,999 accounts for twice as much as Freelance consultants and Government sector.
