The bar chart illustrates frequency of consuming fast food by Americans at restaurants from 2003 to 2013.

Generally speaking, over the span of a decade one third of Americans had fast food at eateries either once a week or couple of times a month. It is worth noticing that more people decided to eat less junk food than they did in the past.

As it can be seen from the graph, the percentage of people, who cannot spend a day without going to fast food bistro, slightly decreased throughout a decade. Similarly, a mere reduction can be observed in number of people, who never ate in such restaurants. Just over 15% of population consumed fast food meals several times a week in 2003 and percentage of such people increased by 5% in 2006 before it decreased to nearly 15% in 2013. Many Americans were in favor of having junk food once a week, nevertheless the figure marginally dropped (28%). The similar proportion of citizens ate fast food couple of times a month, however the ratio went up over the time. People, who had junk food a few times a year accounted for 15 %.
