As is indicated in the chart, both the percentage of eating in fast food restaurants every day and never remained relatively lower level under 5% and displayed a similar trend that it decreased steadily after reaching highest in 2003.
People who had fast food several times a week and once a week changed in similar pattern during the years, in which more people (well above 30%) went there once per week. The percentage of people who liked fast food once or twice a year experienced a fluctuation by achieving just 30% in 2003, dropping by 5% in 2006 and then soaring to almost 35% in 2013. In addition, less than 15% of Americans had fast food a few times a year during the decade.
Overall, the majority of people in the would like to have meals in fast food restaurants once a week and once or twice a month in the period given.
