The pie chart illustrates multiple purposes of adolescents in one African nation utilizing their phone over a period from 2016 to 2019. Overall, most teenagers used their phone to access social networking sites in four years surveyed, while the phone calls was the least used feature
Initially, the percentage of teenagers making use of phone for social networks dominated all the charts. It occupied 50% in 2016, then underwent a slight fluctuation before hitting the peak of 56% in 2019. On the contrary, the minority of teenagers ultilize phone to make a phone calls. This reason accounted for 10% in 2016, then was halved to 5% in 2019.
The ratio of adolescents using phone for email and digital camera kept the second and the third postion in the chart respectively. Time witnessed a minimal decrease in the former, which made up 19% in 2019, less than 6% as compared with that in 2016. Besides, the latter remained stable in the first two years surveyed, before rising at 20% in 2019.
