This chart shows the top eight honeymoon destinations for newlywed British couples in 2010. The results come from a survey of 5,000 couples.
The bar chart compares places where the British honeymooners go during a year 2010. In general, the couples from UK preferred to go to Asia than the islands and in Europe. Overall, what stands out from the graph is that the couples enjoyed their staying in Thailand most, while the Lake District was the least popular among the couples.
The most interesting point of the chart is that Thailand was in the first place in list with 1,410 couples and Bali followed in the second with 1,335 couples. After that, Costa Rica was twice as popular as the Greek Island, at 750 and 432 respectively. The Maldives followed by Costa Rica and took the fourth place in the list with 600.
In contrast, The Lake District was the least interested places by British honeymooners with 124 and Spain got little more interested than the last one with 124.
