A glance at a graph reveals that unemployment rate for urban and rural areas followed different trends and while the figure for rural areas underwent a gradual decrease, almost opposite happened for the urban areas.
However, for all the time covered in the chart, bigger portion of the countryside dwellers was jobless than citizens of urban area. In the beginning, the difference was remarkable with approximately 6.5 percent for rural areas and about a bit above 2 percent for urban areas.
