In general, the flying cost from the two locations had no distinct differences. It can be seen that Weekends and Mondays had the highest airline ticket prices on the chart, while the rest had the opposite trend.
The ticket price of first-week Monday from Sydney to Melbourne accounted for $80, which was the highest price to be paid. On Tuesday, and Wednesday, passengers only paid $35 for an airline ticket, while they only paid an extra $5 for Thursday. On the weekends, the cost of tickets significantly went up to $75. There was no change in the price of the airline ticket, except Monday reduced to $50.
From Melbourne to Sydney, in week one, the price of tickets on Mondays was only $60 and continually decreased for the next three days, to $35. Fridays sold the most expensive tickets and more than Saturdays and Sundays. A week later showed a $20 decrease (13) in the price of Monday tickets, but a stable price range at $50 (14) for Saturday and Sunday.
